Short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.

What's saved on your device

Your guesses, hints and results for each daily puzzle are saved in your own browser (in "local storage"), so your progress survives a refresh and your stats can be worked out. Practice rounds are kept only until you close the tab. None of this leaves your device, and you can wipe it any time by clearing your browser's data for this site.

What reaches our server

To score a guess, your browser sends the puzzle number and the film you guessed. That's it. We don't ask for your name, email or anything else, and guesses aren't linked to you.

Hosting and analytics

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to keep the site working and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint your device and doesn't track you across other sites.

Fonts and images come from this site itself, so no other company sees your visit when a page loads.
